Downloading your photo archive

How to purchase the $19 photo archive export and download your ZIP of every wedding photo.

For: Couples

After your wedding, every photo your guests uploaded lives in your NextSet gallery. The photo archive export bundles all of them into a single ZIP file you can keep forever — on your own hard drive, backed up anywhere you like, no strings attached.

What's in the archive

The ZIP contains every photo your guests uploaded directly through NextSet — from the photo wall, the photo booth, and any other uploads tied to your event. The archive includes only photos (image files stored in your gallery). Videos are not included; videos shared at your wedding go to YouTube and live there, not in your NextSet storage.

If a guest took a photo on their phone and never uploaded it, it won't be in your archive. Only photos your guests actually shared through the guest page are included.

How to purchase and request your export

  1. Sign in to your NextSet account.
  2. Open your wedding dashboard and go to Photos or Settings for your event.
  3. Find the Download photo archive option and click it.
  4. You'll be taken to a secure checkout page for the one-time $19 CAD fee.
  5. Complete payment with your card. You'll be sent back to your wedding dashboard with a confirmation.

That's it. The export request is queued immediately after payment.

How delivery works

Once your payment goes through, NextSet starts preparing your ZIP in the background. This typically takes a few minutes, though larger galleries can take a little longer.

When your archive is ready, NextSet emails you at the address on your account with a download link. Click the link in that email, sign in if you're not already, and your download begins right away.

The download link is valid for 7 days from the moment the email is sent.

Saving your archive safely

Once your download is complete, save the ZIP somewhere reliable — an external drive, a cloud storage folder you own, or both. Your NextSet gallery doesn't disappear after the export, but having your own copy means your photos are always yours regardless of what happens with your subscription.

Common problems

I paid but haven't received an email. The export usually completes within a few minutes. If you've waited more than 15 minutes and nothing has arrived, check your spam or junk folder first — the email comes from NextSet and can occasionally land there. If it's not there either, sign back into your wedding dashboard; the download link is also available directly from your dashboard once the export is ready. If the download still doesn't appear, contact NextSet support via nextset.ca/support with your order details.

My download link has expired. Download links are valid for 7 days. If yours has expired, sign in to your wedding dashboard — you can access the download there as long as you're logged in to the account that made the purchase. If you're still having trouble, reach out to support and we can help you retrieve your archive.

Some photos seem to be missing from the ZIP. The archive includes only photos that were uploaded through your NextSet guest page. Photos your guests kept on their own devices, sent in group chats, or shared through other apps won't be there — NextSet only has what was actually uploaded. Videos are also excluded from the archive (they live on YouTube). If you believe a photo was uploaded but isn't in the ZIP, it's worth checking the photo wall on your guest page to confirm — anything visible there should be in the archive.

I accidentally exported before some guests had finished uploading. You can purchase another export once more photos are in your gallery. Each purchase creates a fresh archive with everything uploaded at that time.
