Tracking your gigs
See your upcoming and past shows in one place, and learn how gigs get added to your account.
For: Bands and performers
Your gig list is your personal show schedule inside NextSet. Once you're on the lineup for an event, it appears under your account automatically — no extra steps needed on your end.
Where to find your gigs
After signing in, go to Gigs → Upcoming in the left sidebar of your performer dashboard. You'll land on a list of every confirmed or pending show that's still ahead of you.
To switch to completed shows, tap Past Gigs at the top-right of the page, or choose Gigs → Past Shows from the sidebar.
What each gig shows
Upcoming gigs
Each row in your upcoming list shows:
- Event name — the name the venue gave to the show
- Venue — where it's being held
- Date — when the event takes place
Tap any row to open the public event page, where you can see the full lineup, event details, and any other information the venue has published.
Past gigs
Your past shows page shows a quick summary at the top — total gigs played and shows worked over your whole history. Below that, each completed show appears in the same format as upcoming gigs.
How gigs get added
You don't add gigs to your own list. A gig appears in your account when the venue (or show director) adds your band to that event's performer lineup.
Here's how that flow works:
- A venue creates an event in NextSet and builds out their rundown.
- They add your band as a performer — this creates the link between your account and their event.
- As soon as that link is made, the show appears in your Upcoming Gigs list.
Once the event date passes and the show is marked complete, it moves automatically from Upcoming to Past Shows.
Your performer dashboard at a glance
The main page of your performer dashboard gives you a fast snapshot: the number of upcoming gigs, your total past shows, how many members are on your roster, merch sales, and follower count. The upcoming shows listed there are the same ones in your full Gigs page — it's a preview of your next few dates with a View all link to the complete list.
Common problems
A gig isn't showing in my upcoming list. You need to be on that event's lineup for it to appear. The venue has to add your band as a performer — it won't show up just because you know about the show or attended it. If you're expecting to see a gig, contact the venue or show director and ask them to confirm you're on the performer list in their event settings.
I can see a past show in the past count but not in the list. The past shows count tracks every completed event you were added to. If a show isn't visible in the list, it may still be populating as the platform receives the completed status from the venue. Give it a short while and refresh the page.
My upcoming count on the dashboard home doesn't match the Gigs page. The dashboard home shows a preview (up to ten upcoming shows). If you have more than ten, the full list on the Gigs page will show them all. Use View all or navigate directly to Gigs → Upcoming to see everything.
A gig is showing the wrong venue name or date. The details on your gig list come directly from the event the venue created. If there's an error, the venue needs to update it on their end — reach out to them and ask them to correct the event details in their dashboard.
